2027 Monthly Calendar Template

A monthly calendar is the sheet that ends up on the fridge, beside the desk, in the classroom and in the binder, and most of the free ones are a grid someone exported from a spreadsheet: months of different heights, a weekend squeezed to half width, holidays typed in by hand and some of them wrong. This one is drawn as a set. Twelve sheets, one design, every month the same shape, so a year of them lines up on a wall or in a binder and looks like it was made to.

The decision that shapes the page is six rows, always. A month that fits in five gets an empty sixth rather than a taller grid, and that is why every sheet is the same height and the day cells are the same size in February as in July. Each cell has room for a line or two of handwriting under the number. Beside the grid there is a notes column ruled for a pen, and above it the last month and the next in small, so you can see where you are. Both come off with a switch, and the grid grows to take the room.

The eleven US federal holidays are marked on the cells. They are worked out by rule for the year instead of typed in: the fixed dates, the third Monday in January, the last Monday in May, the fourth Thursday in November. When a fixed date falls on a weekend, the weekday it is observed on is marked too. In 2027 that happens to Juneteenth, Independence Day and Christmas, and New Year's Day 2028 is observed on December 31. The switch turns them all off for a plain grid. The week starts on Sunday or Monday, your choice, and the columns reorder.

Every month also has its own page on this site, with its own free file of that month alone, so the January that goes up on the second of the month does not need the other eleven printed first. The plain twelve-sheet set is the free file on this page. The paid version is the same set with your name or a title at the top of every page, for 2027 or 2028, and it comes back in Letter and A4 from one purchase.

Print at 100%, not fit to page, on plain copier paper; a calendar is written on and thrown away, and the light-ink theme is there for the stack of twelve that goes through the home printer.
