A year on one sheet is the calendar for the wall beside the desk, the inside of the cupboard door and the back of the planner: not for writing on, for looking at, to see how far away June is and which day the fourth falls on. Most of the free ones are twelve tiny grids in whatever font the spreadsheet had. This one is set to be read from a chair: the months in four columns, the day numbers in a face that stays clear at seven points, the holidays in the accent color so they stand out without a key.
It is made from the same source as the monthly calendar in this drawer, so the two agree: the same rules work out the eleven US federal holidays and their observed days, the same week start reorders the columns, and the same year setting, 2027 or 2028, redraws every month. The holidays are a switch, for the plain year.
One decision worth explaining: there is no big header squeezing the months. The header is one line, the year and your name, and the months take the rest of the sheet at the largest size twelve of them can have on a Letter page. Every month is six rows, so the columns line up down the page and across it.
Six color themes, matched to the monthly calendar, so the year on the wall and the month on the fridge look like a set; light ink for the copy printed for everyone in the office.
Print it at 100%, not fit to page, on plain paper for the cupboard door or on cardstock for the wall. The free version is this design for 2027 in the Studio theme, Sunday start, holidays marked, on Letter, with a small credit line at the foot. The paid version adds your name at the top, the choice of year and week start, all six themes, and comes back in Letter and A4 from one purchase, with a link that works for a year.
