What you are buying

A template on this site is a PDF file. When you buy one, you get the file made with your own text and colors, in two paper sizes, plus a license to use it. The license page says what that covers. You are buying a file and the right to use it, not the design itself and not the fonts, which are licensed separately and embedded in the file.

The free version

Every template has a plain version you can download without paying and without giving us an email address. It is the same design with the sample text, one color theme, Letter size, and a small credit line at the foot. It is meant for printing and using, and the license covers it for personal use. The credit line stays on it.

Prices and payment

The price of every template is shown on its page before you start, in US dollars. You pay it once. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel. Payment is taken by Stripe on its own secure page. We never see your card number. Where the law requires it, sales tax or VAT is added at checkout and shown before you pay.

Your download

After payment your file is made in about ten seconds and shown on a page with two download buttons. The same link is sent to the email address you gave Stripe, and it keeps working for one year from the day you bought. After that the file is deleted from our storage. If you need the file again within the year, use the link in the email. If you lose the email, write to us with roughly when you bought and what, and we will find the order.

If something is wrong

A file that does not open, or does not match the preview you bought, is refunded. The refund page has the whole policy, and it is short. Reply to your receipt with the order number.

What you type

Whatever you enter into a template is yours. We keep a copy for a year so your download link works, and for nothing else. We do not read it, use it, or share it. The privacy page lists exactly what we hold.

The site

We try to keep the site up and the links working. We do not promise it will never be down. If a fault on our side means you cannot download something you paid for, tell us and we will fix it or refund you. We are not liable beyond the price you paid for a template.

Who we are

Artisan PDF Studio is made by Synergy in the United States. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. You can reach us at hello@artisanpdfstudio.com. If we change these terms we will change the date at the top of this page; nothing changes for an order already placed.
